The toughest part in life is being far from family and good friends that we love. So Tony and I have decided to keep a blog! We promise to do the best we can to keep everyone updated with our fun and crazy lives!
All the craziness started on September 5th 2009 when Tony got a surprising call from the Packers office saying that he had been traded to the Baltimore Ravens. He was in a golf tournament for one of his teammates when he heard, and had to leave it immediately to pack his bags and get on a plane to a new state, city and team.
Where was I in all this?? Boston, in between a Ceremony and Reception of one of my best friends wedding! (Congrats Meg and Dan! Wedding was so much fun!) What bad timing! However I am very thankful that I was surrounded by great friends! I was just sad I couldnt help him through such a stressful time. We have come a long way since that crazy time and in some ways we are thankful for where are now!

I couldn't stand the thought that I hadn't given Tony a big hug since the trade happened so, after Boston, I flew home to and empty house in Green Bay, WI packed up our important things and drove to Maryland.
After a few weeks of living in a hotel, we both agreed that it was time to find another place to live. So we called Steve, a recommended real estate agent by the Ravens. In no time at all, he found a perfect house for us! So we moved out of the hotel and into the house... one factor you should know... we lived in the house for 3 weeks with no furniture except a aero bed and a cardboard box nightstand! Living simple is an understatement.
Finally, I got in touch with a moving company and flew back to Green Bay last week and packed up our house. It was a lot of work but was totally worth it, because the movers came to the house here in Reisterstown, MD on Monday and we now have a house full of furniture! We are now just getting settled!
Tony is getting accustomed to his new team and looks great in purple and black! (thats all that really matters right?) We have met some really nice people here and lucky for me I am close to all my good friends from college. The best part of where we live now is that there is so much to do! Washington D.C. is only 45 minutes away and the city of Baltimore has its excitement as well. Every Tuesday on his day off we take a day trip to explore the area... so far we have been to.. the Baltimore aquarium and Washington D.C. Many more trips to come!

Its been a big change but the most important part is that we have each other and with that we will be happy no matter what happens!
